Finding God in pain

When I thought I needed relief, God knew I needed to know Him deeper. He has transformed my cry of “why” to a different plea: Lord, show me how my pain can be used for Your glory. Give me a glimpse of Your work in my suffering.

The powerful living Word

We have the breath of God at our fingertips—His every promise and declaration of love.
So many times we question why God cannot simply speak to us, like a friend can to another friend. But we forget that God has spoken—and is still speaking—through His Word.

When you feel small and insignificant, look to the One who eternally holds you in His hands, who numbers even the stars and knows them by name. He knows even the number of hairs on your head, and you are precious to Him.
