About

Origin

The name Penn Epistle was kindled by the Pauline Epistles, the thirteen books of the New Testament written by Paul the Apostle, which have become the most well-known articulations of Christian theology and ethics. As Paul wrote letters to encourage and challenge the body of Christ, we now seek to do the same with your writings.

Mission

The Epistle is a Christian journal dedicated to tapping into the power of the gospel, celebrating Jesus’ love, exploring the works of the Holy Spirit, and glorifying God.

People

We encourage and accept Christian students at Penn from diverse backgrounds to share their testimonies, affections, beliefs, and experiences about their walks with the Lord Jesus Christ. The Epistle is a platform for Christians to connect with one another, lean into our common faith, and deepen our love for Jesus Christ.

Hope

The Epistle desires to faithfully serve as a vessel for the Lord’s words in order to comfort, support, and inspire believers to deepen their faith, as well as to encourage nonbelievers to enter into the faith.
